Synopsis: "The L Word" tells intertwined stories about a group of women -- some lesbian, some straight -- in Los Angeles. Among the show's varying story threads are a young writer (Mia Kirshner, "24") who, unknown to her boyfriend (Eric Mabius), is starting to develop romantic feelings for another woman (Karina Lombard); a committed couple (Jennifer Beals and Laurel Holloman) who are considering a family; and a tennis pro (Erin Daniels) who's still in the closet.
